Effective
Communication through Presentations is a practical application
tool anchored in theoretic thought. The concepts presented are
developed from years of observation and practical experience.
This text has been designed to walk the reader through the
chronological process of developing an effective presentation.
Beginning with a basic understanding of how we communicate and
what types of communication can be considered presentations
(chapter 1), the text then moves through the steps of planning
(chapters 3-6), preparation (chapters 7 -8), delivery (chapters
9-10), and reflection (chapter 11). The text ends with a review of
important cultural differences to keep in mind (chapter 12).
